Some of our rescues require only a minimal amount of time with a foster carer before they are assessed and ready to go to an approved family, whereas other dogs may require extensive veterinary treatment or behavioural rehabilitation depending on the circumstances from which they have come. GRR's Commitment At Golden Retriever Rescue we pride ourselves on not only finding the best homes for our Goldies but the home and family that suits the individual needs of each dog. The Questionnaire provides GRR with preliminary information that assists us in matching the rescues with the most suitable home. GRR's Assessment Each dog listed has a story on how it came to GRR and an assessment from its foster family on the type of family that would best suit this particular dog. Living with their foster dog on a daily basis gives the foster families an insight into the personality, temperament, fitness level and their foster dog's ability to cope with other dogs, cats and small children, and arms GRR with the information to find the most suitable home for each individual Goldie.
